Adult Watercolor Classes for Beginners to Intermediate with Doreen Spoor
Doreen will be teaching beginning to intermediate watercolor classes, Oct.23 – Nov.20, 10-12 in the Library Meeting Room. Supplies are included but a small fee of $5.00 will be collected at registration to help defray the cost of materials. Register at the Adult information desk.
GFJ Adult Book Club – Thursday, Oct. 29 from 7-8, upstairs meeting room
The GFJ Book Club has chosen the unique and quirky mystery by Alan Bradley titled “The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie”. Please come and enjoy the discussion Thursday the 29th. Bring a friend!
BARK 9 Therapy Dogs are back!
Beginning Saturday morning October 10 in the Youth Services Dept. from 10-12. They will be here Oct. 24, Nov.3, Nov. 17 and Nov. 31. Read a favorite story to your favorite dog!
Caterpillar Story Time – Oct. 8 @ 1 PM in the Library Meeting Room
Join us and children across the country on this day to read Eric Carle’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Children through age 5 will enjoy caterpillar and butterfly stories, songs, activities and crafts. No registration is required.
Friends of the Library – Fall 2009 Book Reviews
All reviews are on Tuesday evenings @ 7:30. Coffee is served @ 7PM. Everyone is welcome to attend. Come and bring a friend!

Game Day @ the GFJ Library – Saturday, Oct. 24, 2-4 PM in the Library Meeting Room
Grades 4-6. Spend a fun Saturday afternoon playing with friends – board games, cards, WII and Bingo. No registration is required.
Special Halloween Story Time & Parade @ the GFJ Library, Oct. 30 10:30 & 1 PM in the Library Meeting Room
Wear a costume, we will be trick and treating throughout the library.
No registration required.
